Missing
I just watched Must Love Dogs again. Such a great show for romantic hopefuls like me but deep down inside, I know a show is just a show. If romantic comedies don't have a happy ending, it will be called romantic tragedies instead (think: since when was Romeo and Juliet called a romantic comedy?). Anyway, I just identify with Diane Lane's character (Sarah) so much. But while it may be socially acceptable to express her frustrations and fears in love in the U.S., it is wiser to mask any desires for finding the perfect one for you in Singapore. I don't think I have high expectations or many requirements for a guy... I just need someone like John Cusack's character who's philosophical, smart, funny, caring, faithful in love, and loves me. That isn't too difficult right? Maybe loving someone like me is the difficult part. Guess that's why Sarah gets her guy and I don't. Oh well...
