Welcome to the Drivers' Club.

That's what my ex said to me yesterday when I passed my driving test. Well... yeah! It was such a wonderful feeling seeing the tester write a number 6 in the box next to "Number of Demerit Points" and then ticking the box that had "Passed" next to it! After coming out from the testers' room, I ran down to the lobby of the building and found my instructor. I was literally jumping with joy! He need not have to hear me say the words "I passed!" before he knew. Everything showed on my face. I think my instructors were more anxious than me, seeing that one of them even missed his lunch just because he was waiting for me. And also, he even asked his student to drive up the slope, just so that he can see me do my parallel parking during the test. He also waved to me. Being in the neurotic state that I was yesterday, I waved back and told the tester that that was my instructor. Surprisingly, this second attempt was worse for me than the first. My legs were really like jelly. And I told the tester so. When he didn't reply, I thought that he must be a strict tester. Apparently not! Anyway, there's loads more to say but I'm not going to bore everyone with the details. Anyone interested can just call 62353535 and order some KFC for me and we can have a chat.

But here, I wanna extend my utmost gratitude to the driving instructors who have made my driving lessons something that I look forward to each time, and for tolerating my irreverence and nonsense spouted as I drive. Also, I deeply appreciate the confidence they have in my driving and for the encouragement they gave me when I failed the first time. Thank you Deon, Wilson (both), Frankie and Lee! I will miss all of you and the driving lessons!
