Tatsuya "Da Wu"

Had lunch at Tatsuya's today with two of my most atas friends. The food was really good and even though the set looked small, I was stuffed after I finished my meal. $26.80 for a sushi bento set comprising: a bowl of chawan mushi, 5 pieces of tempura (2 ebi, 2 some greenish veg, 1 brinjal), 16 pieces of sushi (2 pieces of california handroll, 2 pieces of maguro sashimi sushi, 1 piece of sake sashimi sushi, 3 pieces of 3 different kinds of whitish looking sashimi that I cannot identify, 8 pieces of sashimi seaweed roll), 1 tamago with the words "Da Wu" on it, 2 slices of watermelon and 1 slice of orange. Wow. The suaku me only knows about this place because my two friends are so into good restaurants that they keep track of which chef or restaurant is voted the best in which year. I am amazed! Anyway, great lunch that's beaten only by the great company!
