McDonald's - The Backpacker's Saviour?
While in the shower this evening, my thoughts strayed to my trips overseas. One commonality was the lack of decent toilets. Being a cleanliness freak, I'd rather "suffer in silence" than visit a dirty toilet. Surprisingly, my trips to Barcelona and Berlin went smoothly without any toilet woes. It didn't strike me, till now, that McDonald's has always been my saviour on such trips. I believe that wherever I go, and there's a McDonald's, I will not hunger or thirst, or lack a decent toilet. Shame on those who slam McDonald's.
