Elle Woods
A girl of amazing courage and confidence, a half-woman, half-child, Elle Woods represents a girl/woman whom most girls desire to be or try to be but fail. Her childlike earnesty and Disney-esque impression of the world endeared her to me, despite her blonde hair and bimbo-istic walk. What I thought would be a light-hearted no-brainer, turned out to be full of subtle nuances of situations in the past and present. I probably wouldn't have noticed if not for the company I had. Because of tonight, I finally understood why I like watching such people on screen. It's not escapism, but an example of what I might have been.
