Sliced Finger
I just sliced my finger with a blade. Ouch. I don't know what got into me when I was washing the blade, I just used my thumb to smooth over the blade, and then blood started coming out. Unlike most other cuts I get, this cut could not stop bleeding for the last 5 minutes. I think it must be rather deep. As I washed the cut, I could feel the water going into my flesh. Ouch. It's so painful and I didn't know what more I could do but pray. Held on to my finger for a few minutes and tried talking to God, but anxiety kept me from praying properly. All I could hear was God telling me to be still and focus on Him. Focus, focus, focus... Ah...The pain is still there but the wound has dried up and is no longer bleeding as profusely as before. Boy, do I hope that that blade was clean.
