Fabric Pro Hougang Mall - BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

After months of deliberating if I should send my fur coat, fur collar and Italy-imported wool coat for dry cleaning, I finally did it. I brought it to Hougang Mall Fabric Pro, and the sales person there assured me that they will not spoil my coats and collar. So, after leaving it in their hands for more than a month (they said it will not be ready so fast because it was the Christmas/New Year period), when my mum went to collect it today, they told her they couldn't find my stuff! They said they will call me back. They better! People who know me know that I'm a lamb until someone ruins my clothes. Then they will D.I.E. The fur coat is brand new, with the tag still on it, the fur collar was taken off my favorite cardigan because my sister borrowed my cardigan and it smelt of her sweat after that, and that Italy-imported wool coat was worn only twice and costs a lot of money! I just read the terms and conditions behind the yellow slip of paper that masquerades for a receipt and it says that they will pay up to $100.00 in damages. My goodness. The total cost of the items that I sent for drycleaning is almost triple that! And furthermore, it's not the money, but the item itself! Think about it, people only send expensive items for drycleaning because they are made of leather or fur or wool or whatever. And $100.00 in damages is definitely insufficient in compensating the customer for the money spent on the item as well as the psychological and emotional damage done! What kind of a term and condition is this? And they just filled in the form and asked us to fill in our names and numbers without stating explicitly what the terms and conditions are. What if they decide that they want those items for themselves, and they are willing to pay me $100.00 in damages. What's the bloody f***ing point? They win, isn't it? $100.00 for my coats and collar? It's daylight robbery. Now I'm waiting for tomorrow to come so I can call them and ask them what's going on. They better find it...or else..............................................................

After note:
Called Fabric Pro the next day and managed to track down my items. Phew... The lady on the phone was prompt and polite...not so bad after all. :)
