Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason
Yes. That's true. The movie was extremely near the edge between reason and non-reason. True to the reviews, it was bad. Most of the time, you are worried and embarrassed for Bridget, and the twists in the plot make you go "huh"? That gorgeous Becky definitely doesn't seem crooked to me, and no explanation was given as to why she was answering his door. Are we supposed to infer that they were having some lawyers' meeting there since the fat lawyer was on his way in? That kiss was also unnecessary. Is it to signal to the public that the producers are open to alternative lifestyles? Or is it reflecting Brit society? Or is it just a way to attract gay audience to a lousy show? The most questionable element of the show is the essence of the entire show - the relationship between Mark and Bridget. He seems to love her, yes. But does she love him? It appears to me that she doesn't really love him. It seems that she just wants to be attached, married, and have someone to belong to or belong to her. Is that love? What is love? To me, the chemistry between Bridget and Hugh is undeniable. Despite him being such a jerk, he is definitely gorgeous and if I were Bridget, I would just tell the katoey to get out and have him all to myself, since he obviously wants me and the chemistry is fantastic. It doesn't hurt that he has technique too. Mmm.... hunkalicious... Now I know why I get myself into shit all the time... My taste is always on the risky side. But danger is sexy aint it? ;)
