Angeline Lim reporting from Yong Pyong Ski Resort, South Korea.
Yong Pyong Ski Resort is the place where the fans of Bae Yong Jun, current Korean hottie, aim for. The beautiful resort provides the perfect setting for a winter romance, in this case, Winter Sonata. Unfortunately, I'm a snow-chaser (literally meaning: I chase away the snow), so there is no snow this year, much to the dismay of my parents and sis. It goes to show, too, that my powers to command the weather are greater than that of my dad's (the snow-bringer). Anyhow, despite the lack of snow and plenty of sun (which is actually heaven when you're skiing on the fake snow, coz it gives you the best of both worlds), it had been a fun two days. Yes. I finally got a chance to try skiing. Most of you are going to say "what?! so old and still not tried skiing?" Yes, yes. I'm a slow starter, but I'm a fast learner. Now, I'm a veteran on the ski slopes and an expert. Yes. Expert faller. I can fall in many different positions and with different facial expressions and physical contortions. Reason for falling: usually crashing or preventing crashing into others. However, I still haven't mastered the skill of picking myself up. Hopefully, now, I won't really need that. Now, skiing is the "in" sport for me, and I so wanna ski again! Next year. I vow. I will ski again. Be it in Europe or Australia or NZ or Korea. Skiing, here I come!
