Spellbound by Jane Green

Just finished reading the book. Sometimes I wonder if God is trying to signal something to me. Book's about this girl, Alice, who loves the country life but is at the same time in love with her philandering husband, Joe, who prefers the city life, status, money, etc. He transforms her into a glamour girl and trophy wife, but cannot keep his prick out of other girls. She yearns to go back to her simple self, but knows that would make him unhappy. Eventually, they end up moving from London to New York, and she stays in a house in the countryside, while he stays in Manhattan, becoming a familiar face in the social scene. Eventually, she finds out about his affairs, and is strong enough to break free from him. She ends up happily with her best friend's ex who shares her dreams. I connect with Alice, but what the future holds for me, I still don't know.
