My trip to the US in August necessitates the bringing of my T42. There is a statistics course that I simply must attend when I'm there. Of course, a lightweight computer like my dear Asus EEE cannot be used and the course requires a heavyweight champion like my darling T42. Previous conference trips have landed me with bad aches on my shoulders and back because of the sheer weight of the T42 relative to my physical body size and weight (and...putting on weight doesn't make it any better!). This time round, I am determined to overcome this problem and even better, to look good doing it.
Here's what a Google search yielded:

Cool is the word when it comes to Betsey Johnson's Betseyville collection of laptop sleeves. The loud patent designs scream rock n' roll and are wickedly delicious. The studs give the sleeves an edgy feel and contrasts sultrily with the girlish hearts embedded in the fabric.
Unfortunately, this design is no longer available at the shops. Maybe one day, I will see it at a factory outlet somewhere in the world!
The other contender for my attention does not look as striking upon first glance, but after reading about it and looking at the different versions of it, I am totally in love with it! Made from burlap and polyester sherpa fleece, the applesac sleeve is not only durable, but classy. It comes in various designs and colors, my favorite of which is the Black Colcasac. But if I could, I would get it in all colors! I will not elaborate more on this laptop sleeve for the item description on the website says it so much better than me.
It is still available for sale, but you can only purchase it through the website or in retail stores that carry them. I am currently investigating which stores in Singapore sell them and will update this blog post when I have any information.
Other laptop sleeves worthy of attention are those that are sold by Juicy Couture. I have seen some of their older designs (currently unavailable) and they are fresh, fun and sweet, albeit comes with a hefty price tag. Maybe my T42 needs two outfits - one for work, and one for play!
