Random Thoughts
While at the Creativity Workshop, I picked up a magazine on the coffee table entitled New Scientist. Being a stranger to Science since I last took a cross-faculty module in NUS, I have never heard of this magazine. But the colorful graphics on the front page attracted me, and since I've already finished the copies of Business Traveller and AdAsia on the table, I'm only left with this. Flipping through the pages, my eye was drawn to an article on something called the Air Cannon. The article can also be found here: Air Cannon. For those lazy to read the article, it basically talks about a device that is able to aim and shoot smells to and individual's nose such that the person next to him/her could have been shot a different smell. This is extremely useful in marketing. So marketing people, watch out for this new creation!

And did you know? Daphnia is the name of water fleas. So Daphnes out there, you're a cute little water flea!

Finally, one question to think about... why are beer and wine bottles made out of glass and beer cans are made out of metal, and not wood? Especially when wooden barrels are used to age beer and wine?
