"The only constant is change."

This is something oft quoted by people pushing for change, usually the more creative and innovative people. Considering the fact that my nickname is karung guni, I am more inclined to hoard old stuff instead of pushing for change. However, the accumulation of the past is too much for me to take. This time, I'm making changes to my life.

Change #1: Buy new computer. Getting myself a Dell 4600 with free upgrades, cash discounts, etc. This is to replace my trusty laptop of 4 years, to be my main home computer. My darling laptop will retire and act as a consultant as and when I need it.

Change #2: Get new desk. My current study desk has been with me since I was in Primary 3. No doubt it is still a good desk, but as a child outgrows her clothes, so I have outgrown my desk. Even Fann can comment that he used it when he was younger, and the carpenter said "This one is for kids, the tabletop too low!". To accomodate my new Dell computer, and all my barang barang, I am getting a huge table with extra storage below. And what's cool is that the table is gonna be light blue maple! That is to match my room's color theme. For this reason, and also to maximize the space, we got in a carpenter for that.

Change #3: Besides the desk, I am also getting a new bookshelf to store my files and books, and basically try to keep my life in order. Later, when I have more money, I will make more shelves out in my balcony. :)

Change #4: Went for my Bobbi Brown makeup lessons finally. Loved the way she did my eyes. Now learning and practising with The Body Shop's Summer Palette. Love those colours! Never knew it was so fun playing with makeup.

Change #5: Change my wardrobe. Something that I've been wanting to do rather unsuccessfully for the past few years. I've been adding to it, but not exactly changing it because I simply don't have the occasion to dress up!

Change #6: Change my hair colour. Hair's growing too long. Need to save money to cut hair and at the same time change to another colour. Wish I have more hairdresser friends who can do my hair for free.

Change #7: Change my teeth. Braces anyone?

Change #8: Change my attitude towards people and things. Been living my life carrying the world on my shoulders. Time to change that, baby.

Change #9: Change my degree from an Honours to a Masters, and perhaps a Ph.D!

Change #10: Change my attitude towards love. Believe in love. Believe in love. Believe in love. *doesn't seem to be working*
